Jump on the bus from Hobart to beach, or meet us at the beach surf session options.
Catch the COASTRIDER Surf Academy mini bus daily FREE from Hobart City to the beach return, making it easy for people who don’t have easy access to get to the beach. Parents can drop their kids off in the city and be sure in the fact that their child is being looked after safely and reliably on the 3 hour surfing round trip. If you would prefer you can meet us at the beach for your Surf Session, we will inform you of location and arrival times on the day of your Session. The COASTRIDER Mini bus can be booked State wide for group bookings and can carry up to 13 passengers. |

The best super warm wetsuits and quality softboards are all provided or bring your own gear.
We have sealed, long arm and long leg steamers that are super flexible and warm, we also have wetsuit hoods and thermal rash vests if you require. Our surf softboards are the best and safest on the market and we have one to suit your surfing ability and needs. At COASTRIDER your comfort and safety is a priority which is why we offer only the best equipment to help make your surfing experience a positive one. All equipment is included in the cost of your surf session. |

Qualified surf coaches with additional bronze medallion and senior first aid qualifications.
Our coaches are all certified through Surfing Australia or the Academy of Surfing Instructors, and also have additional accreditations and awards that make sure your surfing experience is safe and structured. COASTRIDER offers beginners and intermediate surfing manuals and DVD’s to help you progress faster and become a better surfer, and also give you a greater understanding of the surfing environment and surf safety. |

Coaches that are experienced surfers and also very friendly and understanding.
The COASTRIDER team of coaches includes Tasmanian State Men’s and Women’s surfing champions, and mature experienced surfers that will make sure your instruction is of the highest quality. COASTRIDER demands high standards from coaches and quality customer service, and we are focused on providing surfers with a positive and safe experience in a fun learning environment. We have a 1 to 8 coach to surfer ratio, which makes sure you are provided with plenty of attention to speed up your surfing prowess. |

COASTRIDER Surf Academy specialises in Beginners to Intermediate Surfers but also offers more advanced Surfing and Surf fitness sessions on demand. No matter what your fitness level or surfing experience COASTRIDER will structure your session to meet your demands and concerns. Being the best surfer is not the issue forced at COASTRIDER, as we feel the best surfer is the one having the most fun, which is exactly what you will have when you surf with us. No prior surfing experience is necessary to book in for you surf session, although you should be capable in the water and able to swim at least fifty metres. |
