A special thanks goes out to all the surfers that attended Coastrider Surf Academy over the past summer surfing season.

We had a great year and so much fun with you all and hope to see many of you ripping up the waves at your local beach in the future.

Coastrider Surf Academy is open for lessons all year round even throughout the winter months, so even though the weather and water will get pretty cold, the water is uncrowded and the waves at their best.  Over the the next 4 months we offer private lessons 1:1 during the week and weekends, and also take group bookings on weekends.

So if you are keen to progress your surf skills over the next few months then give us a call and we can hit some nice cool water waves.

SURFGROMS EASTER 2012

Hi all Groms, here is your last chance to make the most of the warmer water and weather and enroll into the Easter SURFGROMS clinic.  The clinic runs from April 10-13, 9-12 daily.  This clinic is open to all levels/abilities of grommets. Surfgroms Term 1, 2012

Thanks to all the Surfgroms who participated in our Surfgroms programs over the summer holidays.  There are some pics of a few groms on our facebook page for you to check out.

 

Term 1, 2012 Surfgroms clinics start next week so get your grommet enrolled in one of these clinics:

  •  After School Thursdays 3:45 – 5:45, 7 Mile Beach.
  • After School Wednesdays 3:45-5:45, Clifton Beach.
  • Sunday Mornings 9-11am, 7 Mile Beach.

Each clinic runs for 6 weeks and are 2 hours duration per session.  Clinics are $199 per surfer.  All the above clinics cater for Level 1 (first timers) through to Level 3 Surfgroms.

Every new surfgrom receives a huge pack of Quiksilver goodies to the value of $260.

Mums Surf Day

The next Mums only surf day will be held on March 3, 2012, 9-11 at Clifton Beach.  The Mums surf day now has a strong following of surfing mums with new mums also very welcome.

We take the group up the beach and surf in waist to chest deep waves giving you the best chance of success and progressing your surf skills.  So take some time out and hit the waves with other Mums and have stacks of fun learning the skills of surfing.

ORFORD Jan 29, 2012

Coastrider will hold a Learn to Surf lesson at Spring Beach, Orford on Jan 29, 2012, 1-3pm.  This is a chance for all the Orford locals and holiday makers to get some professional surfing advice and have stacks of fun learning to surf.    The lesson caters for male and female surfers of any age over 8yo.

At the lesson you will develop a greater understanding of surf safety and ocean awareness along with the fun part of getting the basic skills of surfing sorted, and hopefully standing up in your first lesson.

If you have had lessons previously this session will also be great for you to advance your skills with each surfer being given special individual treatment for the skill level of their surfing.
