“Coastrider Surf Academy provided students from Ogilvie High School in Tasmania with one of the most memorable experiences they will ever have at High School. The friendly, approachable and professional conduct of Jono and his surf coaches was fantastic and students experienced a high degree of success in a short space of time under their tuition. It was fantastic to have a wide range of wetsuits and surfboards ready to use and in good condition provided by Coastrider. The safety aspect of the Coastrider Surf Academy was something that we highly valued as well as the pre surf session at our school where Jono became a familiar face with the students. Flexibility with Coastrider meant we were able to cater our surfing lessons to meet the appropriate level of the students and also adapt to the changing weather and surf conditions. There is no doubt that surf lessons with Jono from Coastrider will be a permanent fixture on the Ogilvie High School calendar” – Anthony Coe, Outdoor Education Teacher and AST, Ogilvie High School

“Coastrider has been an integral part of GYC’s Physical Recreation program for the past 2 years. Surfing classes have been provided by accredited coaches in a well structured and safe learning environment. Coastrider is a professional and well organised outfit. All the equipment for participants is provided and you only need to turn up. My students have thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I can highly recommend Jono and his team to other schools and colleges.” - Sarah Pugsley, Physical Recreation Class, Guilford Young College

Ogilvie School“In outdoor education this year, our class was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in four surfing lessons with Jono and his Coastrider Surf Academy. I started off knowing virtually nothing about surfing and by the end was able to actually catch waves. he was friendly, patient and had great, comprehensible tips and techniques, making our experience very enjoyable. if i was to take lessons again, Jono and his Coastrider team would be the only ones :)- Anna Read, Student, Ogilvie High School
